Terms of service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Acceptance
By using the iPothecary website or platform, you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an eye care practice or organization, you agree to them on that entity's behalf.
What iPothecary provides
iPothecary provides infrastructure — a white-labeled storefront, in-clinic point of sale, fulfillment, and patient communications — that eye care practices use to serve their own patients under the practice's brand. iPothecary is not a medical provider. Nothing on the website or platform is medical advice; patients should talk with their care team about what is right for them.
Acceptable use
- Use the website and platform only for lawful purposes and as intended.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not misuse patient information or use the platform to send unlawful communications.
Orders and payments
Purchases made through a practice's storefront or in-clinic point of sale are between the patient and that practice. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider; by submitting an order you authorize the charge for the items and any shipping shown at checkout. Listing a product does not guarantee availability, and prices and details may change.
Intellectual property
The iPothecary name, brand, website, and platform are the property of iPothecary and its licensors. A practice's own brand and content remain the property of that practice.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and platform are provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, iPothecary is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the website or platform.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
